Our rug's rows of medallions were inspired by the iconic coin (or tangka) carpets of Tibet. Simplified, multiplied and freed of their traditional border, they bring new energy and style to that ancient motif. Artisans hand knot the design from pure wool, yarn-dyed in shades of blue or gold on an ivory background.
