Creamy Strawberry Smoothie

It's hard to beat this recipe for quick and easy strawberry smoothies. All you need is five ingredients and five minutes. It's versatile, too; you can use your preferred yogurt and any unsweetened milk for creaminess, and the maple syrup or honey is optional. Ingredients:
  • 1 ½ cups frozen strawberries
  • ¾ cup low-fat milk or unsweetened nondairy milk
  • ¼ cup low-fat plain greek or regular yogurt
  • 2 teaspoons honey or maple syrup (optional)
  • ¼ teaspoon vanilla extract
Directions:
  1. Place strawberries, milk, yogurt, honey (or maple syrup), if using, and vanilla in a blender. Blend until smooth.
